The Trust seeks to provide competitive, risk-adjusted returns to its participants through its investments in institutional quality commercial real estate. The investment strategy is to earn income and realize capital appreciation from investments in equity interests in real estate and mortgage loans, including construction and participating mortgage loans, consistent with protecting participants’ capital. Contributing to the strength of the Trust’s performance over time are its well-diversified portfolio by geographic region and property type, and its strict underwriting criteria.
