John J. Flynn

International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers
John J. Flynn is the President of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. Before being elected President in June 1999, he was BAC Secretary-Treasurer and had served on the union's Executive Board since 1987. Mr. Flynn is also the Labor Co-Chair of the International Masonry Institute and Co-chair of the International Trowel Trades Pension Fund and the International Health Fund. He serves on the Governing Board of the Building and Construction Trades Department, AFL-CIO, and is a graduate of the Harvard Trade Union Program. He began his career as an apprentice bricklayer in 1952 in St. Louis.
