Queens Family Courthouse

Queens Family Courthouse ("QFC") is located at 89th Avenue and Parsons Boulevard in the Jamaica section of Queens.  The site has excellent access to public transportation with subway, LIRR and bus lines converging at nearby Jamaica Station and the recently constructed AirTrain to JFK Airport.  The Dermot Company was awarded the opportunity to redevelop the site through an RFP process administered by the New York City Economic Development Corporation.  The redevelopment plan entailed rezoning the property to allow a mix of residential, retail and parking uses totaling approximately 444,000 gross square feet.  It will contain 346 residential units, 19,522 square feet of community facility space, 54,015 square feet of retail space, 450 underground parking spaces and tenant amenity spaces. All residential units will be mixed-income rental.
