Part of the AFL-CIO Investment Program since 1996, Jim is responsible for marketing, investor relations, labor relations and business development for the BIT.  Before joining the BIT, Mr. Lingberg served as Director of Marketing and Investor Relations and Assistant Controller for the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, and as General Manager of the AFL-CIO Investment Trust Corporation.  Previously, Mr. Lingberg worked as a senior consultant for Price Waterhouse LLP and as a financial analyst for Lockhead Martin's Air Traffic Control division.

Mr. Lingberg frequently speaks on pensions, investments and real estate issues to labor trustees audiences across the country and has been a prior speaker for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
